Sunday School

Come on board and join the Fun!

The number of children who attend our Sunday School varies each week; they are divided into 2 groups according to their age and ability. Parents of very small children are most welcome to sit in during the lessons, which always begin with the Lord’s Prayer after which activities may focus on craft, role-play, songs or stories depending on the passage from Scripture. Bible readings usually follow the same Common Worship Lectionary as parents will be experiencing in the service. Children are encouraged to take their worksheets home so that families are able to share further during the week.

Our ministry is to nurture a personal relationship with God. Quiet time for individual prayers and chatting with Jesus is important, even for the 3 year olds.

From January 2015 Sunday School can only be offered on the 2nd and 4th Sundays, as we have insufficient people with teaching skills and able to provide adequate supervision for two classes. We hope to offer informal activities on the 3rd and 5th Sundays if and when we have resources available.
