Service Pattern

Services held in English every Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

All services include Communion. Service styles vary from traditional to more contemporary.  Below is the general pattern of service styles throughout the month.

  • 1st Sunday - A service for All Ages. This service is lively and informal with both modern and traditional worship, incorporating new songs and music, projected images, activities, interactive prayer, and an emphasis on involvement.
  • 2nd Sunday - Traditional Language Service.  This formal service uses traditional language, Psalms and hymns and follows Common Worship Holy Communion.
  • 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays - Modern Language Services.  These Sundays use patterns of worship from Common Worship but incorporate a greater variety of liturgy, music, hymns and responses.

At each Service, apart from the first Sunday, the Bible readings come from the Common Worship Lectionary and the preaching follows a tradition of learning and applying the teachings of the Scripture, based on these set readings. A link to the Lectionary....

Come as you are

We are a mixture of all ages, backgrounds and cultures – dress code is irrelevant – just come as you are!

Children, whatever age, are always welcome

Sunday school is held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday throughout the school year. On the first Sunday of the month children and young people are encouraged to participate in the relaxed worship style of our Family Service.  More information about the Sunday School can be found on the Children’s page.

A Toddler’s Corner with books, colouring sheets and toys is at the back of the church for little ones who are not attending Sunday school. We want you and your baby to be with us in Church, and extend a warm welcome. Changing facilities in Casa Benson, next door.
